What We Do
Our company focuses on creating specific Asphalt Emulsions to best fit each customer's specific needs.
- We have the ability to create any custom emulsion
Our Products
We make our own products locally at our plant in Port Allen, Louisiana.
We are able to make any custom asphalt emulsion blend at our facility that you need for your jobsite.
A tack or bond coat is an application of emulsion or asphalt binder that is sprayed onto the roadway surface immediately prior to a paving operation. The adhesion of multiple lifts of pavement provides for maximum structural coefficient and ensures the safety and longevity of the pavement structure.
Minimum application temperature is 70°
A trackless bond or tack coat is an application of emulsion or asphalt binder with trackless properties that is sprayed onto the roadway surface immediately prior to a paving operation. The trackless properties ensure the bonding material stays where it is needed, resisting being picked up by tires, paving equipment and haul trucks and tracked across the job site. Adjacent structures and striping are protected for tracking associated with conventional materials.
CRS-2 is a cationic water-based emulsified asphalt designed for use as a bituminous binder for chip seals.
Minimum application temperature is 160°
Medium curing cutback asphalts are blends of selected asphalts and solvents. They are used for a variety of applications, including prime coat and patch mixes and cool temperature surface treatments.
Minimum application temperature is 60°
High performance cold mix binder that once mixed allows the product to remain in a stockpile for extended periods of time.
Rapid Curing (RC) cutback asphalts are blends of asphalt and light petroleum solvents. RC cutbacks are typically used for prime coats, tack coats and surface treatments. The solvent lowers the viscosity of the asphalt cement so that it is easier to handle than the neat asphalt. Once applied the solvent evaporates off leaving the original asphalt binder.
Mixture of cutback asphalt or asphalt emulsion and aggregate, combined through a pugmill or asphalt plant and typically stored in a stockpile for use as temporary patching.
